Piping traces the front edge and adds definition without introducing another pattern. Below, slim black-finished legs create a clean break from the upholstered form.
The back does not stop abruptly at the sides. It slopes forward into two raised panels, so the chair reads as one connected form from the front. The closer view also shows how piping follows that route and gives the pale surface a clearer boundary.
